Dr. Benjamin Wang   

Dr. Benjamin Wang is the owner and founder of Valley View Vision Center.
He graduated from SUNY State College of Optometry with a Master degree in Vision Sciences in 2003. He studied the effect of optical defocus on blur detection and discrimination of the human eyes and published 12 peer-reviewed articles in this area.
In 2009, he obtained his Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received numerous awards in clinical patient care and academics including membership of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and American Academy of Optometry.

After finishing his O.D. degree and practicing optometry for 3 years, Dr. Wang completed a Veterans Affairs Optometric residency in Birmingham, AL, through the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.

Dr. Wang practices Primary Care Optometry with an emphasis on disease diagnosis and treatment, as well as pre- and post-cataract surgery care. Dr. Wang also has the experience and expertise in low vision rehabilitation, and he is looking for a chance to building up low vision practice in Valley View Vision Center to help visually-impaired people remain independent and continue to enjoy life.
